I've been searching for a replacement for my last project bike - a Bultaco mk3, really only considering spanish (VB360, dream on), but have been offered an XR500, and have been tempted to pick it up, so I have something to play with until I get what I want. I am still trying to find out if it is a twin shock model or not, but seriously, guys, are they worth the effort, what do they handle like, are they likely to destroy my body! I haven't ridden a Honda other than gen gung ho motocrossers, so please advise me on this.
