What are these bikes like, are they worth converting into a VMX runner? Do CR elsinore motors drop straight in?

these arent a cr but can still be a good bike providing a cr head, barrel n carby are fitted. A cr engine will drop straight in if you have with just the air cleaner to sort out. The MT wheels [rear coosh drive especially] are much heavier than the cr units but the coosh drive rear are much friendlier on the gearboxs. I run an mt at local events to keep my cr for national an state titles and have done well on it. The wider ratio mt box on some track actually works really well not having to change gears so much.
