Old but New
« on: June 27, 2012, 12:09:06 pm »
Hi everyone, I'm a trail rider from the 70s. Started on a suzi 90 Honcho and progressed to a Yammy 250 and then a Yammy 400 MXB. Went back to trail bikes for a while but sold them when I started a family. Started on road bikes to ride to work about 7-8 years ago and fell in love with GSX 1400, which I buy as repairables and fix up. I also decided to revisit my youth in trail bikes and have a 72 Honcho an MX400B and 2 TS400s which I am working on at the moment. Some people are so cruel to their bikes. Its unbelievable what a mess they can be in and still run. I will be seeking info and parts in the near future. I really need an exhaust for my A model 400 if anyone has one they would like to sell.

Hi Coxy, not sure where you are but GMC is the man on here to talk to about exhausts/expansion chambers etc... and he's at Broadford (Vic)
I think John Tate is a bit of a MX400 fan in Brisbane too(Davey Crocket on here) ((F'ed if I can work that out))
Some great shots on here of Honcos-not too sure where and also a thread on TS400 being turned into TM400 clones (Cy-clones?? ha)
Anyway-Welcome to the madhouse-you'll love it.
