Well spotted guys Re; sprockets.
I had sort of noticed the solid sprockets without really noticing.
I had assumed they were solid because they were so small.
Looking closer I now realize CanAm is on the money…




Not sure what the deal is with wiping dirt from rocks in sections is but it didn’t seem to be any real secret

Dirt on rocks is slippery. They (the "minders") aren't supposed to alter the section but everybody does. In the UK it's called "gardening" and some surprisingly large rocks have "accidentally" rolled out off the line and some big names are guilty of it (Nigel "pickaxe" Birkett being one of 'em).

Firko: I had you tagged as petrol head what with your preference for large motors and I thought the subtleties of trials wasn't your thing. Bit like comparing footie to a 5 day test.  ;D

A petrol head I am Tim but I've still got a soft spot for the subtleties of trials. I've got my Maico trials and a TY250 and have owned a couple of Sherpa T's and a Cota in the past.

Don't know if I'd describe it quite like that, more a full factory hand built bike sharing no parts with the production bikes that allegedly haven't even been built this decade & are old stock from when people still bought 4 strokes
