YZ125A fuel tank wanted
« on: May 24, 2012, 02:44:53 pm »
After just having the YZ 80a tank on my Hindall Yamaha 360 blasted prior to repair and paint, it turns out that it's way too rusty for my purposes, with rust pin holes all over one side where it'd been laying in water for some time. So, I'm now looking for an alloy YZ125A tank in any condition as long as it's reasonably straight. Naturally a perfect tank would be preferable but I'm a tad desperate so will consider anything. A rust free (inside and out) YZ80A tank will also fill the bill. There isn't much difference in overall size between the 80 AND 125 items I believe. PM me if you have something to offer....thanks, Mark.

Done....Curly came up with a C/X tank for my Trackmaster and my old mate Michael McCook in Pennsylvania has saved the day with a YZ125A tank for my Hindall. Thanks to everyone who PM'd me with leads.

ps...It looks like McCook's coming over for CD9. The Kevlar Kompound is looking to be a fun little place this year.

It's a bit stiff on the price for me. Plus I'm a bit gun shy of buying anything from that seller after my recent experience.
