Damn that was good. More later - maybe much later, seeing as I've been up since 4:00am and am fading fast.
Big thanks to the birthday boy 2-nine-7 and the BHJMCC for making it happen.
Edit: good turn-out. Twenty or so bikes, and a few DNSes.
Green is the new red - last year most of the bikes were Hondahs, but even Damo F's newly purchased Maico wasn't enough to outnumber the Kawasakis today.
Track was good, but a bit dusty in spots.
No big crashes from the Retro guys, and much less carnage among the juniors than last time we were there.
Four new members, all seemed to enjoy themselves.
Damo is loving the Maico 250, bloke who's name I didn't catch on the YZ125 was wandering around with a big grin all day, and the blokes on the '88 KXes improved lots over the day.
Jason Barrett did the winning, with Middo in second, and Damo C in third.
I seemed to spend all day chasing Marty's KX500 without success - with Jason (KX125) and Brad (KX250) regularly beating either or both of us. Think most of my finishes were around 10th.
