Rear sprocket bolt pattern and std ratio?
« on: December 23, 2012, 09:35:21 pm »
Is the bolt pattern unique on the old yamahas or are they interchangeable ?

To many beers to go out and pull the rear off but after a few I have come to the conclusion that I should add a few teeth from 49 to 51.

Off to MCA in the morning so if anyone knows if they are interchangeable you will save me waking up early to pull it off :) ???

Thanks

Can anyone let me know the std gearing? Is it 13:49 ?

Same pattern as twin shock DT250/360/400, YZ125A,X, E, F, IT125, IT175D/E/F, MX125/175 and all AT1/CT1/DT125/175.

However, only the IT125/175s and YZ125X~F have the right combination of 520 chain and 10mm mounting holes.

Early TS185 (and 125?) look the same but are different.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
