pulled the pin
« on: April 20, 2012, 08:54:53 am »
Very dissapointed to receive the email this A.M. with news that our very active and forward thinking president &  secretary team at CPMCC have tendered there resignation.
After a year has past with lots of good things happening within the club, due largely to the efforts of these two people in coordinating a great team of enthusiastic people it is dissapointing to see.
Hoping that there strong support for the team shown will continue through there future support and active participation in upcoming events and club activities.
 pancho.
dont follow me i'm probably off line!

What a shame that what appears to be internal bickering has forced a dedicated couple to resign, yet again.
A prime example of someone putting their head above the parapet and getting it shot off.
Things are really looking up at Nepean and Steve has put a lot of time into trying make things happen and it certainly was, we all have different views on things but only a few have the ball's to put their hands up and this is why.
I want t personally thank Steve & his wife for the effort they have put in in sadly far to short a time.

Just when I was seriously considering rejoining Penrith Club the shit hits the fan. From all reports Steve and Jane had injected a lot of new enthusiasm into the club and in fact it was their involvement that prompted me to think about returning to the club. I've never met either Steve or his wife but I genuinely hope that they reconsider their decision and return to help bring Penrith club back to what it was in the 90's. Without positive people at the helm the club is destined to continue wallowing in mediocrity.

Upon thinking about it I wouldn't call it bickering . . . . . shit slinging from "invisible people" probably describes it better
