Just had a call from my brother, his 15yr old son has been racing BMX for probably 10 yrs, in that time he has had some huge crashes, they went all the way to McKay 2yrs ago, first race first corner crash in hospital had 8 stitches in one elbow and got knocked out, about 6mths ago he went to QLD Titles down the coast, crashed and broke his right color bone, today 2nd rnd of the sun state shoot out another crash and now has a dislocated left shoulder and a broken left arm, his mum would not let him go MX racing because it's to dangerous, also my brother took up BMX a while back to join in the fun with his son, second race first day while in the Leed he crashed and broke 3 vertebra in his back, bugger the push bikes they hurt to much....
IN IT FOR THE FUN OF IT. LIKE MR NIKE SAYS JUST DO IT.
