73 250 mikuni specs?

Hi,  looking too put a mikuni carb on my 73 250,   has anyone got specs/ jet sizes carb size 36/ or 38mm?   cheers daz

KK,

I have a 79/80 250 which has the older style motor similar to yours. These specs were used in a 36mm Mikuni I ran for 2 years.
 
Main - 290
Pilot -   35
Needle Jet - Q-2/159
Needle 6DH2
Slide - 2.5

Another contact from the NSW KTM crew gave me - Main 290 Needle 6DH7 or 6FJ6 and a pilot of 45 to 50 but I haven't used those settings.
I did have a 40 Pilot but it ran 100% better with the 35.

Thanks Pete,  i have 82 250 mxc & gs as well so may try on those two as well
I`ve spoken too Tom @ hattricks and got a carb in the post i think he has done similar jetting too a maico? with some changes
The specs you gave are very similar too a bored out vm34 (35.15)carb on POG site
i did have a GEM reed block on my 73 but have broken reeds so will just be running std manifold
