All went good yesterday at Nudgee, they started late but that's nothing unusual, the whole day went good till a couple of our most popular rider's had a coming together which ended with Col Metzer having a good gash in his arm and Lisa Fox being taken away in an Ambulance, after going over the bars and landing on her head. I got a call from Brian last night and all is good, all be it a bit sore. Very scary for the family seeing mum go off in the white wagon, here's to a qiuck and full recovery.......

All I heard was her saying "the bloody passenger didn't get out for the corner"
Get well soon Lisa-sidecars need you.
Great days racing in the outfit dept. with 7 on the line and quite a few newbies having a go.
Track was in magnificant condition and the new lay-out is outstanding for such a compact venue. Well done to all that helped to prepare it. Special thatnks to Lama who took time out in the preceding week to dig some drains to let water off the track-otherwise no body would have been racing at all unlees thay had a jet ski!!! :D :D :D

A great turn out yesterday with so many new members joining on the day who were unaware of the pre entry. This was the largest race day we have had for years with the pits over flowing into the car park. The side car boys and ladies helped by setting up outside the pits.
The racing went well but as I stated at riders briefing there was going to be a delay and certain members who knew better forgot to enter and received big smacks for not doing so. We only ran two rounds but if all runs well we should have 3 rounds if people remember to pre enter.
Everyone seemed to have a great time including my son who was racing for the first time in two years, he got 1 holeshot but was consistant in falling off. So I need to do some bike adjustments and he needs to have more bike time.

Was that your son on the husky?  Maybe number 12??  Not sure.  Anyway if that was him he was fast and looked quite spectacular ... but yeah, he kept falling off  :)

Yes Simo63 he was riding (crashing) my Pre 78 250 Husky and the pre 75 125. He hates the 125 which is fine so I can ride it more. The 250 needs to have the shorter forks back on as the GP 250 I have is a 75 model, they are basically a 74 Mag 250 with lay down rear shocks. It needs a few things done before next meeting and alot before the titles.

Well if he can keep it upright he's quick .. and spectacular to watch  :)

Just noticed your sig line .... was it you and your son that purchased a couple of 84 CR250's off me a while back .. say within the last 12 months?

EDIT: Honda Cr250's I mean  ;D
