Rear wheel Yamaha xt/tt 250-350

Hi Im after a rear wheel off a 83-85 drum brake xt/tt yamaha 18',

What's an 83 XT350 look like?

I assume you're after a 17" wheel from a single cam XT250?
Or something different?

That's 85+, isn't it? The twin cam/linkage rear XT250 (same basic bike as the one on the pic) came out in 84 with a drum front.
Pretty sure the 350 came after the twin cam XT250.

Hi Graham.I have a rear wheel here marked as XT250.It has z spokes.Im not sure what they are worth but if its the right one hows$30?

Thanks guys, Im after a 18'' have plenty of 17'' but tyre choice is now a prob.
The early twin cam model has the wheel im after.

James lee,  If its a z spoke job I think it may be off a YZ and have no cush driver,the one im using at present is off an early 4 valve and isnt z spoked.

The problem with the one I have now is that the alloy has turned to powder on the inside and is now so thin the spokes are starting to pull through

Hell not sure Darcy, I can give you the details stamped on the rim, and measure the rear brake hub to see if there the same,have you got one?

Sorry false alarm just had a look. The rear wheel I have  came off a 86 tt600. It has the z spokes. Darcy
