'74 TS250 Unfinished Project
« on: April 28, 2012, 07:02:36 pm »
I normally at least finish my projects before selling, but an old love has come back into my life and I'm running out of time to get this one finished. Plus I really need the money..........  :-\
If you're interested, flick me a pm or email and I'll send a heap of photos and details, but briefly, the engine is done and refitted with another crank, new OEM piston kit and rebore to 1.00mm over. Frame and swingarm are painted. Steering head bearing cleaned and repacked. New levers and bars and front sprocket. NOS chain buffer on the swingarm.
Shocks look ok, but have some rust on the shafts and one leaks. They are rebuildable, however.
Forrks are good, but will need seals.
2 rear wheels. One rusty but usable, the other is better.
Also got a small, plastic RM tank to go with it if you want to go down the MX route with it.
It owes me just over $1000.00 at this stage but I'm not silly enough to think it's worth that as there's still a bit of work to do, but not a lot more to spend.

Feel free to make any silly offers. I promised not to laugh........... out loud..........  ;D

Sorry mate, I thought it was always listed in the sidebar.
It's in the Barossa in S.A. but I can deliver to Western Vic in a couple of weeks and possibly even get as far as Melbourne in the same trip.
I can also deliver to the Harrow Vinduro.
Cheers
TT

Nope. That tank was beyond help as well and went into the bin.

As you know Tony, I've already got one of these but would be up for another spare/project.  Where are you located?
