New Boots

Is it me or are all the new boots, with the exception possibly of the hinged SIDI, getting very stiff and chunky looking (no carry-on style pun intended). I also noticed that even Alpinestars have all-plastic clips these days.

I Believe its a cunning plan by George Lucas to get everyone to look like Starwars storm troopers ;D

Anyone remember back in the 70's those Red plastic boots. woo wernt they a culture shock.. Think they were Nolans . perhaps someone can clarrify ..

My boots  Ive kept in good nik are old model Hallman MX and have leather straps , well made boot not too heavy with minimal rotation and good protection but do take awhile to slip into. Those clips sure svae a few hours .
Better than the Rossis Im sure many of us guys started with.

Yeah mate, threw  a bit of a seachange and chucked that blood sucking job in and moved to Gladstone for the fishing, hopefully my bikes make it up here in the next few weeks, havnt seen them for months.

I loved my old Rossi's and even slept in them , god they were uncomfortable ;D

Those plastic boots from the mid-70s were made by Racing Mate and Scott as well.
Nostalgia's not what it used to be....

Hey Pokey. Welcome up to this part of Queensland. I'm just up the road in Rockhampton. The owner of Gladstone motorcycle accessories is into the Vmx and is trying to get things up and running up this way. But has the usual stand off. You get the class up and running and we'll build the bikes and the club is saying bring the bikes and we'll run a class for you. so might pay to talk with him. Darcy #674
I might not be winning,But I'll be grinning
