Newbie from California
« on: January 03, 2012, 11:47:17 am »
Hey Guys,

My name is Wendell Clark. I ride most of the vintage mx events here in Southern California.
This seems to be a lively group with quite a few members well versed in early Yamahas, which is my main interest.
The regular ride is a 71 DT1mx,lowered frame, different swingarm and so on. All the bikes I have are runners but I am not a collector or restorer.

G'day Wendell, welcome to the circus ;D. No matter what you ride, there's someone here who knows what makes 'em tick. I'm a fan of old Yamaha's myself as you've probably deduced if you've been lurking here long enough. My main thing is Maicos but the more I have to do with DT1's and their offspring, the more I appreciate them. Can you post a photo of your DT1MX for us to see? If you can't send it to [email protected] and I'll put it up for you.
