Shipping bike Syd to Melb
« on: March 12, 2008, 11:44:04 pm »
Seems to have been some discussion on this forum regarding shipping bikes interstate, but I just want to know approx how much I should be prepared to pay to move one bike from Sydney to Melbourne. Just trying to get an idea at this stage...

I have contacts with a company that an do it for about $200-250 depending on size of the bike. Maybe $200 for a trail bike and $250 or a bit more for larger bikes. All insured etc. PM me if you want details.

Price estimate is door to door too....   ;)

Tex, I'll be going Yass to Melbourne soonish - probably the first weekend in April. Be happy to help out for a contribution toward fuel costs.

The Sydney to Yass bit shoudn't be too much of a drama (I'll be in Wilton tonight, Lithgow on the weekend, have friends in various parts of Sydney, etc).

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
