Yes I saw this on earlier threads and was going to look into it

At the risk of sounding useless.... Can anyone describe in a bit more detail just how to do it.

Is it as simple as......

1. Pull off the decal backing exposing the decal adhesive surface
2. Smear a thin layer of silicon on this adhesive surface
3. Stick onto cleaned tank surface
4. Clean up and let dry

or is it a bit more of a black art!!?
