Pre75 or78 Spanish
« on: March 06, 2008, 06:04:39 pm »
C'mon Guys, who's got a pre 75 or 78 Spanish bike in their shed they're too busy to fix/ride/polish?  eg. cappra, stiletto, VB.  I don't know much about the pre 78 models, what's hot in this class?
Since I sold my Mk3 Pursang, I've been riding thanks to some very generous owners, but I NEED my own machine to drool over!
Darcy, I'll even consider a Maico, if it will make you happy.

Cheers, Mike

I have a 74 250 Montesa  Cappra sitting in the shed that I will never get around to. Very clean, original, unmolested, cosmetically tidy. Fork seals leak, Bing leaks and thread in the barrel for the exhaust is stripped. Standard exhaust is a bit beat up. Has a spare, but looks to be off a 125. Doesn't have original fuel taps either. Has period after market guards. New paint on tank done professionally to original spec. Last owner tore down the top end and said everything was in spec. He never started it, I never have either. I was chasing $2,500 for it but haven't made any effort to advertise it as of yet.
