BULTACO SWINGARM MEASUREMENTS
« on: November 30, 2011, 08:36:49 am »
I'm in the process of remodifying a MK8 Pursang/Frontera swingarm back to MK8 specs following a previous incarnation when it had been mofified to MK7. Having said that can anyone tell me the distance between the shock bolt hole centre to the axle centre when its in its closest position to the swingarm IE its shortest wheelbase. I think its 95 mm but I wanted to confirm before I start welding. Thanks Jerry

Jerry, a Mk8 Pursang swingarm I have, measures 180mm from shock bolt centre to shortest axle position centre.
Or, 290mm from shock bolt centre to front edge of swingarm, 215mm to back edge of swingarm.
Mk7 Pursang is 115mm from back edge of swingarm to shock bolt centre.
Good to talk to you (yet another Bully fan) on the phone.
Mike
