buyer beware

Bridgestone tyres in mildura will not stand by their products.I took a tyre into bridgestone tyres  in mildura.I bought the tyre there about 12 months ago as a spare. When I came to use it I found that it was uneven{bigger on one side} When I took it back I was told that it was to old.The tyre was brand new when I bought it and has been a spare. When I came to use it I found that the car vibrated. When I took the tyre off I could see that it was bigger on one side than the other. The tyre is obviousley new as the tits on the tyre are still there. So if you are thinking of buying a bridgestone tyre:Think again.p

That is poor service and customer care. With such an obvious fault I'm sure you could go 'over the head' of the local dealer and appeal to the sate or national distributor. I know I would ;) :).

This is of no surprise to me, I am currently engaged in discussions with these guys as 3 of their tyres have failed from new on some haul prime movers we have had on a dyno test. Seems the tyres were fine it's just the dyno was too hard on the poor buggers - funny it never happened with the other makes we used!

Paco  Go to the Bridgstone importer . i had the same problem with Cooper Tyres
the local agent / dealer did nothing for 8 months so i rang the Cooper importer
and told him the story i had to take the tyres to another dealer to be inspected
they replaced the 5 tyres the next day .
