oct visit to the usa not vmx but vintage road racing

i thought i would start a new thread not to steal peters stuff
our own matcho mick was racing in the usa last meeting was at classic daytona where he got 2 second places riding a trick rotax powered tr2 yamaha.
mick calls this his bucket list shot

I was trying to work out who you were talking about before Jim and also thinking Mick had been quiet lately.

Looks like you recovered well from your broken foot, from that dirty little yz125.
Just the perfect physio for it......go road race at Daytona....you're a legend.

thanks guys,yeah what a buzz,  ;D ;D,well, at least the motor was VMXish ,a 6speed,4valve dirt track/mxer rotax 510 in TZ250G deltabox roller  8),weird sensation,full noise, horizontal on the bankings,apparently good for 10,000rpms,my eyeballs were bouncing at 8, ::),7grand was ffffuggging fffffast enough for me, helmets burying my glasses into my face at that speed,big ducatis blow past thurther up the banking,phaaarrkk,certainly focussed my attention bigtime,watched 3D TT 'closer to the edge' lastnite in Newie,mentally crossed Manx GP off my bucket list  ::), :P
ps that shots 5 stories up in the control tower,according to staff a bloody good view of the rocket launches over at cape canaveral  ;)
work,the curse of the racing class!!
if a hammer dosn't fix it,you have a electrical problem!!

Sounds like a Dream trip Mick, Good on Yah.  { Know where theres a TZ350 tucked away, maybe time to ask the owner again}
