what the difference between 82 cr hubs/wheel and 83 are they interchangable
which ones use buttered spokes(thinking 82) and which uses parallel
need to supply Titmans with hub/spoke difference and Inter-changeability

Titmans actually do have that info somewhere because when they sent me 82 spokes instead of 83 spokes, I helped them get it. One part of that process was actually showing John an 83 at CD8 and I know he took pictures of the hubs etc.
My understanding of the major difference is that 82 are bent at approximately 90 degrees at the hub whereas 83 are a smaller bend (maybe 14 degrees). If they rat through the book where they keep their specs they should be able to find them, if you are clear about whether you need the severe or shallow bend.
I think some of the problem is that some parts lists say that the spokes were  the same in 82 and 83. Not sure if that may have been the case in other parts of the world, but it wasn't with mine and many others I have seen.

Thanks
Yeah going through the same process now he just wants me to a supply photo of hub so he knows what spokes to make.
he has been caught out before especially when like you said the parts lists state they are the same.

I agree 82's have a large bend compared to 83's and I have got all 83 stuff. not sure what gauge though he did mention 9 gauge
will the 83 rear wheel/hub fit in a 82 swing arm or even an 81 swing arm with out much drama I know the brake assemblies are different but thought that the hubs maybe the same width

Not sure about whether rear wheels are interchangeable. Fronts are.

Spokes wise, the two are completely different. The 82 runs more conventional spokes and the 83 has the 'butted' spokes. They are like a straight pull spoke.

090 is correct although there are 2 slightly differnt82 hubs if your talking 480 i think they slightly revised them during 82 spoke ofset is slightly differnt there should be a casting number on the hub eg ka4 titmans have a list of codes that willmate to your hub code (if you can find it)
and a 83 hub will fit into an 82 but the lh wheel spacer needs to be extended about 4mm from memory
