Mate l run GAZI Shocks on both solo and a sidecar l used to ride and they performed good and not to badly priced. There are better and worse shocks out there....EML Sidecar Pre85 and CR250 Honda 79 model..
IN IT FOR THE FUN OF IT. LIKE MR NIKE SAYS JUST DO IT.

I like the Rock Shocks. And John is a straight up and down type of bloke and very good to deal with.

The YSS and Hagon shocks are in a different price range. Not sure on the performance of the YSS shocks but the Hagon's are OK if a little heavier than the Rock Shocks.

You've left out Works Performance, Excellent value and up there with the best.

Correct me if I am wrong, the rock shocks are very well made and I think he sells them for 180 pounds, One of our club memebers had a very nice pair on his YZ250A and I didn`t have a chance to ask him what breed they where, nicely machined alloy body adjustment top and bottom, They looked like YSS shocks.
Those Gazi shocks look very good, specially the sport x

I am a little suprised that no one mentioned Ohlins as a consideration. Why is that?

Probably price  ;) i dont question that they are one of the top brands but they are ridiculously expensive compared to the competition.
The reality is the average VMX rider wouldn't tell the difference exept in his bank balance .
Reigers are a quality shock also but again expensive  ::) and would the average VMX Wobbler notice the difference  ???

He mate, I run Rock Shocks on my old Redline and they work well for the type of bike, but they are relatively short travel. I must say John was a pleasure to deal with and the product is well made.

I use Works Performance one on my Rocet and they are very good indeed.
