DRZ 400E jetting
« on: October 08, 2011, 05:26:07 pm »
This is not vintage related but other forums aren't being very helpful so I thought I would try my luck here. I just put a aftermarket exhaust on my DRZ 400 and also opened the air box and was wondering if it needs to be rejetted. I have been told to change the mainjet from a 165 to a 160. I have no idea about jetting but would this make a difference?

If you go to 160 that will make it leaner which is not good I would say you should go to a 175 main more air more fuel more power.
