If you just see it as a four door falcon then yes it is a lot of money but you can't walk in to a ford dealership and buy a new one.

I only like original cars though too you see the xa-xc coupes with all 351 motors when alot shouldn't have them the cars that are worth the money are the original ones.

In Echuca Victoria this weekend is the National Ford Falcon XA XB XC Hardtop* Rally lots off beautiful eye and  V8 ear candy stopping in my little town on the way.   ;)  * NO they are not Coupes they were all Hardtops! There is a major difference  in the door pillar area, look it up. ;)
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Don't get me wrong Frosty, I like Aussie fords.  Have owned a XC GS ute, XY ute, XR sedan, XT sedan and have been driving an XT 351 ute for the past 14 odd years.  I just can't come to the money for the XY GT's.  I would much rather buy an American model and save the $400,000.  My favourite is the 66 Galaxy Ranchero ute.  A lot of the 60's American muscle cars give a lot more bang for the buck compared to our offerings.  If you look past the common Mustangs and Camaro's that very man and his dog owns, there are some very cool and affordable cars.

I like a lot of the american muscle cars too but they are left hand drive my dads mate had a mustang and he said it was a bit of a pain to overtake cars in unless you had a passenger to look for you.

I usually tend to steer (no pun intended) towards ones that have been already converted.  60's U.S. Fords are a pretty easy conversion.  most steering parts are the same as Aussie models.  About $6,000 to do a full mirror conversion.
