80 model? Sure isn't a 77
« on: September 02, 2011, 09:23:54 pm »
Just noticed this on Aus Ebay.

Owner has it listed as a 77 model but frame, plastics, tank and seat suggest otherwise.
Can anyone confirm the year, I am thinking an 80 model.

Thanks for the confirmation.
At first I thought it must have been a bastardised 77, as you wouldn't expect owners to get it wrong.
Didn't take long to see swing arm, frame and more weren't 77 though.

A lot of VMX going for great prices at the moment, its getting to the point where great deals can be had in Aus and importing isn't so beneficial (given you are up for at least $1200 extra for freight, clearance, GST and so on).
