Cr125 shock seals
« on: August 05, 2011, 02:23:28 pm »
Can anyone point me in the direction of seals for the rear shocks on a 125 CR 74 ???   are the 250 seals the same ????

Anyway where do they come from, what else fits or where are the cheapest ones.

There are 10 and 12mm shafts. I have only personally seen 10mm though. The 10mm seals are 10 x 25 x 9.5 and the body o-ring is 30.8 x 1.9. Other parts should be inspected and replaced if necessary too. Those sizes are from specs for CR250M but i think the ones i have got are 125 and use the same 10mm seals too.

Yes 9.5 is the thickness/height. OEM Honda part number is 91256-300-970 Im not sure if they are available new still. Otherwise yeah just try a SKF bearing dealer. You can get a head start and find the SKF number off their site. Its a little tricky to follow though, but if you can wait i will try and find it on the SKF site on the weekend, or just try Hoeys or one of the Elsinore parts specialists on the web.
