Honda CR125 '76-'78 Tank
« on: August 09, 2011, 12:52:37 pm »
Hi

I've got a good restored tank for sale. It comes with cap, tap and grommets. This tank has been sitting on a shelf for a number of years and has a couple of paint chips but no dents. It remains in good overall condition. It would suit a racer not a queen.
Located in Sydney $100 + post.

If there's no interest here it will go on ebay in a couple of days.

Cheers
Shaun

By the way guy's that's an MT tank painted red. No difference really other than the fuel tap but not 100% correct if it matters to anyone. Still a good price though.

All good, Thanks for the info Michael, Not that it really matters as i guess the tap should flow enough for a cr, does this mean a cr tap will bolt on or is the tank slightly different in that area.

I'm sorry if I have misled anyone.

The tank was sold to me as a CR item at Barrabool back at CD3. Teach me to trust Mexicans  ;D I haven't used it and am not an expert at these things. I will now check a tap off my CR to confirm what Big K says. Not that I am questioning his knowledge.

Brett no probs if you would rather not have it mate just let me know.
Cheers

74-75 CR125 fuel tanks have 2 bolt fuel taps, '76-'77 CR125 has a screw type fuel tap with the threaded boss as part of the tank. Don't stress too much as I said not many would know and even less would care and it's a good price no matter what.
Cheers,
K
