#8, I alway's regreted missing this Wallan meeting as myself, Mick Nicol and quite a few others got stuck at the ferry terminal in Tassi after the Princess of Tasmania crew went on strike for a week on our way home from the 75 Aussie Titles at Sandford. I was lucky enough to race against Rahier in three class finals on the Sunday in Tassie and believe me he was super fast and smooth along with a just as quick Vic Allen. The guys that flew home were lucky enough to to make the Wallan meeting. We made the most of it with your Dad and brother if I remember correctly (it was 36years ago ).

yeah Goof i was showing Dee the other night because of the old club members on the videos that we are friends with and i said to her at the Rahier bits, you know that looks like a young as Goof in front of Rahier and we looked again and both confirmed it was and then further in the video at the Pakenham stuff and we see a glimse of a baby faced Hilly (norman) lurking behind Rob Urquhart and then a glimse of me as a long haired lout on the minibike start line in the distance.......  Les
