« on: February 16, 2008, 02:39:02 am »
Do any of you guys down under know where to get a set of original 10 mm shaft rear shock for the 74 cr125m ? I also have 4 sets of the original cr250m shocks that all need rebuilding. Does anyone know where to get seal/rebuild kits for the cr250m showas ?

Thanks,

Thanks for the contact info. gents. I will contact both. Failing efforts to find a pair of 10 mm shocks, Quicksilver, would you be willing to part the one you have ? I have seen on a couple of occasions where 1 was for sale, and always passed, thinking that I would be hard pressed to find another single shock available. During that time, just one would occasionally come up, and I had pulled my head out of that dark place, I would've had a pair by now. The load pop genereted by that action could certainly have deafened some people however.

I have a pair or very clean 125 shock on my MX 250 , best shocks i own and piss easy to rebuild and reoil, id love to have another set as they seem to be the best vintage shock i own, the rest i have tried, are busted up on the garge floor, or leak like a sive and cant be rebuilt.

If you need a pair for a perfect true restoration i would be hapy to part with these, for that reason, that you need them for a real resto, but as they are coming off my race bike youll need to come up with an equivelant pair that work as well if not better and work perfectly.

Just food for thought if your struggling to find a real pair for a resto attempt, if its just to tart up a shit box, ill pass as these seem to be a really good shock, dont leak like the rest and for some reason seem to be a sweet mix of rebound and comp especially for a 74 shocker, they make the others feel shit.
