Firko i think alloy tanks were a UK only oddity ::) all motorcycles registered for the road had to have metal or fiberglass tanks  :o
Alloy tanks were standard equipment on PEs ,ITs , KDXs and XRs the alloy tanks on the KDX 175s were a particulary nice tank and a completly different shape to the plastic ones.
