After just reassembling a HPP honda powervalve system I noticed that the activator was spring loaded (I'm assuming to control the opening of the valve), this spring is pretensioned by a screw with a 20mm pin attached to the end.
Question is if the length of the pin is changed, therefore changing the pre tension on the spring, would this change the activation of the powervalve, If so what would the effects be? I know modern KTM 2t's have an adjustable powervalve, by changing the actual spring.
