you say its a 2 hole flange mount? what bike is this on again? i do not know of a TS 185 ER with that type carb. im sure they all mount  in a rubber manifold like mine. maybe you have a earlier cylinder?

i had a L  74 model and it was a 2 hole flange mount they warp at the flange so remove the o ring and surface the flange with a file or emery paper on glass for a better seal.

Yeh sorry my mistake as to what you were talking about...   :-[

It is the standard carb i am sure and does mount into the rubber boot that is then attached to the cylinder with 2 bolts..

It's a single cable at the throttle grip and then splits into two half way down...1 for carbie and 1 for oil pump.

VM Mikuni 29mm...as described above...... :)

ok yeah now im with you. its the actual manifold that mounts with 2 bolts and not the carby which is held in the manifold with a hose clamp. if you need a rebuild kit for your carby i know where you can get one. are you using this for dirt track racing? if so you might want to check out your main jet. i went up a few sizes on mine becuase i have the throttle fully open a lot of the time when riding it, as you do on a 185, and it could easily handle a bigger main jet.
