He's all good. He felt like giving the nurses some strife and is now banned from three Queensland hospitals!
He was discharged on Sunday morning and even went for a ride.

Thanks to all for your concern and good wishes   :) bottom line is im back home and it feels like nothing happened really , i feel fine and was very fortunate to have good people around me and exellent medical atten  :)

The doctors at 3 different hospitals and my GP haven't yet worked out what caused my passing out at CD  ??? they have highlighted that i need to make some lifestyle changes and generally tidy up my act . It was actually quite frightening , injuries i can deal with but getting sick i didn't like .

I knocked myself out cold at the final rd of the VMX series in April and refused to go to hospital as it was my birthday and i wanted to party  ;D with hindsight that was probably stupid  ::)

I have been for more test today and am awaiting results but i think (hope) it was a one off turn  :) I have given myself a 3 month stand down off the bikes and will watch what i eat and drink .

A big thanks to all the guys for there support , im pissed i missed most of CD8 but hey im still here  ;D

Vale has been very supportive inspite of being fed missinformation by a mate  ::) I am treating this as a wake up call, i thought i already lived everyday as though it was my last but i will have to step up my game now  :)

You had us worried for a while there Bill. Good to hear that there have been no lasting effects.
Look after yourself and see you at CD9.

Good News Bill, Did not get to see you after Tatey told me what happened... Dammed shock I'll bet. Just goes to show you should live every day....

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

Hey Bill,

Great to hear that things are getting sorted and you are feeling better. ;)

Had us a bit worried thinking that if Bill is passing out on the first morning of riding then how am I going to be at the end of the weekend.  :o Mate you look fit and ride like a demon so sort of blew me a way!
Thanks for the laughs and hope to catch up soon with the NZ crew soon

Cheers,
Col Newell
