Need help

 my forks have been refreshed fork oil and clean out, now when i brake hard the front wheel hits inside the fender would this be an air leak from the O ring at the cap? as i have not changed these, i have tried to see if air comes out but none ( but i can't repculate hard braking) springs seam ok, dose any one run preload spacers in these forks? any ideas would be great.

There used to be a pair of 5/8" sockets in my forks as spacers but when I got the bike back from a friend to start using it I ordered new springs, I'd be sure thats what you need to do

well I guess the spring might have lost there spring as it did sit for 14-15 years so i guess they might have a bit of sag, after i wrote the thread i did think my spring might need to be thrown in the bin!! thanks for the info Tony27
