1500 Membership by CD7??

I seem to recall that we just made 1000 members before CD6.

Looks like we might make 1500 by CD7.

500 new members in the year is a great effort.

mmmmmm, does't matter if things are a bit tight boys and gals. You can donate as little as a Largy or two.

All you have to do is click on this button

Then click on it again when the Ning site page loads. You will find it on the top left hand side.

You will even get a congratulatory email and a personal thank you from man himself.

Yeah, but that personal email is just a cut and paste 'standard text'. It all gets a bit embarrassing when I forget to change the name of the donater...   

Still, most donations do at least get some kind of recognition.

I must apologise though, after about 5 or 6 years doing it plus several years of other sites before this one, I have little enthusiasm to do more than keep it percolating along. So to everyone that I don't reply to, or those who I don't pay enough attention to, sorry. Especially to those I seem to piss off without actually knowing why (not mentioning any names Shoey). Oh, and Ajay whose constant efforts to raise the tone seem to fall on deaf ears - what can I say? You've got those nice KXs and the RH AND Ray's HL. I'm sooo envious.

Luckily the whole thing seems to be pretty much self sustaining these days, so that's a big plus. But when people like Doc and Firko jump ship, I know I haven't really steered it as well as I might have.

But hey, it's still here, right?
