A PRIZED motorcycle has been recovered and will be returned to its owner after it was stolen from a Mildura caravan park.
Mildura Police retrieved the motorcycle after raiding an Irymple house on Sixteenth Street last Tuesday.

The bike, along with trailer and racing gear, worth $25,000 was stolen from the BIG4 CrossRoads caravan park in Mildura on January 9.

The trailer, worth $7000 alone, was found dumped a day later in Merbein South.

At the time of the theft, Ben Dickeson, 19, of Swan Hill feared he would have to put his racing aspirations on hold as he couldn’t afford to replace all the uninsured gear.

The avid competitor, who developed a passion for racing from a young age, had been participating in the King of the Murray Stadium Motocross at Olympic Park.

A 20-year-old Mildura man is being questioned by police in relation to the theft and the search is still on for his alleged accomplice.

Jannine Brown, an employee at the caravan park, said it was a relief to know the bike had been found.

“With the motorcycle fraternity around town, it was only a matter of time before the bike was found,” she said.
