mate that was the one of the best speedway meetings i have ever seen, to see 15 world class long trackers rip around the Bathurst showground (800m) at top speeds around 170KMH in to a slide was awesome. the year before simon wigg was pulling monos down the straight flat out (in the lead too) dropping the front in time to pitch it. Sadly Wiggy is no longer with us these days.

I am gonna try and get the 1989 Australian Long Track GP it i can but not sure if it was taped?

settle down guys, be patient. it takes time to copy and send off.

i have an idea but i need to check with the VMXMAN (the web-meister) first, if successful you will all get a copy in due time.

Tim754 as promised yours will be sent ASAP.

Ripper Hoony!!!! Just got my 1990 Long Track DVD and what a treat! Lots of big names like Chris Watson,  Phil Crump, Leigh Adams and so many more. Why the hell can't we have a long track GP now !!!  :D :D :D :D :D

Reality Check, too many hurdles like insurance , perceived track and spectator safety , "Traditional owners"and their evil  lawyers/ hangers on wanting ridiculous compensation /kickbacks/ graft ...Governments on all levels not caring about entertainment for the people unless it is a money guzzling great big over blown wank fest like Formula 1 or Cart cars Commonwealth / Olympic games or Tennis, Golf, Horse racing, Football of every code , Cricket etc where many totally boring  grossly overpaid "Stars " get filthy money to carry on like their hype is real..
OK that was a heart felt rant, but I bet I touched a lot nerves about what pisses us all off!!!
