Had a customer of mine that had 33M number one.
Sold the bike to a collector in Spain for crazy money.

I know, the frame was repainted silver.

Great project you have your hands on there Dave :o

Is it the same as the one you raced in your early days?

I've got a soft spot for those early Montesas. When I was researching the VMX piece I did on them I really got to understand what they're about. I hope you keep this one Dave, I'd love to see it at Crystal Brook up against my Cheney in pre '70 later this year.

The mine will be their, the body is a bit rusty and will need to oiled, the challenge against the cheney, tell your jockey l will be up to it, Gee l hope its only one lap. :D

Well, it would be nice to have you riding the cheney and you can huff and puff with me, but it will be great to line up beside Tony.  Do us old boys get a head start. :P
