Last year there were 400 riders registered for the Open course, but I only saw one IT, one PE and my TY250A at the annual Lowmead Reloaded Trail Ride.
Is there anyone else on the OVMX forum riding there this year I should look out for? I'm riding a KT250 this year and expecting a few blokes around my age will come up and tell me they haven't seen one of those for 35 years, just as they do with the TY250.
Lowmead is midway between Bundaberg and Gladstone in Queensland. Reloaded is a MA Recreational Ride run by Curtis Coast Trail Riders and draws most of its riders from Bundy, Gladstone and Rockhampton. The Saturday and Sunday Open courses are very tight and suited to peole who like challenging and technical riding.
