Toni was laid to rest in a moving, emotional and dignified service. The manner in which Michael conducted himself was nothing short of amazing. He wrote pretty much the whole service himself, despite going through the most unimaginable grief, and it was without doubt the most incredible tribute anybody could pay to their wife. The strength and courage he has shown is simply amazing. I take my hat off to him, and his and Toni's family for the dignified manner in which they have dealt with  this.
There was a special moment when Toni's doctor from the oncology unit who had treated her for the past 7 years performed a song, in french, with no backing.
Several people have commented to me that Michael should consider a career change from vintage bikes to writing after listening to his beautifully written readings !
