Pre 90 alive and well
« on: April 03, 2011, 07:22:30 pm »
I dropped into Dargle to day to have a look at the first pre 90 race this year and how good was it. It reminded me of the first race we had with HEAVEN at Oran Park in 99 but with bigger numbers and much better bikes. The track was great tight and fast and I only wish I had have got my ass out of bed and loaded the bike and had a ride. Good on ya boys good to see some one had guts to have a go.
Pre 90 is here to stay congratulations boy see at the next one with a bike on the ute.

What an awesome day 5 rounds of racing on a fantastic grass track 2min 45 a lap, as the day went on track got faster and faster.

All 30 gates full for the retro race, with approx 12 to 15 Pre 90 500's blastin around, good to see Vic Drew back to his old self and carvin some sweet lines.

Well done to the Retro boys a very successful debut for Retro MX.

Don't miss the 2nd round at Clarence!!!!

Hi

There's a few photo's up on the gallery page of our web site http://www.retromx.com.au/gallery.htm

Unfortunately it seems that we were short on photographers and we are finding it hard to locate shots. If anyone has any we can use please let me know [email protected]

Cheers
Shaun

Glad to hear the day went off so well, and good to see you have your own website Shaun.  Although that forum is on a separate domain to your site, you are welcome to continue to use it as the forum for retro MX. As far as I know, space is pretty much unlimited on that site and I have allowed attachments/uploads, so you can happily post as many pics as you want in threads there.

Thanks Graeme.

I totally forgot that I linked to the Retro Dirt Bike forum when I was building the site and haven't really sorted out what to do there. I should have asked you if it was okay. I'm sorry for that and will happily remove the link if you wish. As I'm sure you know finding time to do site maintenance is pretty difficult and organising our first event has taken precedence lately. I hope to have the site looking and working better over the next couple of weeks.

Cheers
Shaun

No worries Shaun, you are welcome to use it. That's why I set it up. It's really something Nathan looks after in any case. But if you don't have plans for a forum on your own site, please feel dree to link out to that one, as I said space on that is pretty much unlimited.
