CR125M Airbox, rear guard.
« on: January 29, 2008, 08:20:39 am »
I chasing an airbox for CR125m and a rear guard. Airbox being the most important at moment. Can make do with rear guard I have but a better ( no extra holes drilled in it ) would be nice.

Have looked at using pod filter but im not impressed with the idea of cutting the side covers where they meet together behind the carby. If one of you guys have used pod with having to cut side plates id be most interested in how it was done.

Cheers Quicky

I had one with a pod and they had used a bent radiator hose and from a car and a bit of aluminium tube as an air boot, to locate the pod inside, up and behind the side covers away from most of the crud. A bit agricultural up close, but overall not a bad way to do it. I have since sold the bike and it is still being raced with the same filter set up.
Cheers,
K

Thanks to a forum member I have a red devil airbox, front section is perfect fit to the earlier frame. I will trim the rest of the box away. She'll do  the job fine.  :)
