I am undecided as to how far to go wth the repair work on the tank for the 78 Magnum I am restoring.
The tank is dished in on both sides from the riders knees pushing in on the tank when cornering. I raced a Magnum in 1979 and 80 and after two years of racing this is exactly how my tank looked.
What is the general consensus from other magnum owners who have had tanks repaired and painted? Should I repair the tank to new condition or am I wasting time and money because the tank will end up pushed in the sam way again?
