YZ bikes & part clean out
« on: September 16, 2010, 02:12:03 pm »
Yeah, Yeah, I know I've said it before but this time it's gunna happen.

I still like to play with things on 2 wheels but I've got two XA coupes that need restoring. Hell I've had one for 28 years and it was only on the road for one. (No jokes about the mechanic who worked on it) My 24 year old daughter has never sat in it. So I thought it's about time I did and I'll need cash to do it.

I am keeping the YZ125F & YZ250F that I race, one YZ250G and of course my "Owned from new" YZ125E but most other stuff is going.

Choice will be "ready to race", restored or "As she is"

Anyway 1 YZ125F is already sold but I have enough bits to build at least 1 maybe 2 more, 1 YZ80H, possibly 1 or 2 YZ125G's, 1 maybe 2 YZ250F's, possibly 1 or 2 YZ250G's, possibly 1 or 2 YZ400F's,

Maybe a YZ250D, YZ250E and maybe a YZ100G (With a aftermarket alloy swingarm that would fit YZ125D.

Plus lots of parts, NOS plastics etc.

I'm starting with a huge sort & clean next week to get ready so if you are interested give me a bell but be warned I am slow at getting my arse into gear. I will be doing it in time for next years season though. The biggest problem I have is good original plastics and good rims. When I advertise these will be explained to whether they are aftermarket plastics, NOS or good/OK/bad original plastics and whether rims are bent, repaired etc.

All engine will be fully rebuilt unless otherwise stipulated.

Ring me if you are interested and when I get round to doing them and deciding which ones are for sale you'll get 1st choice before they go on Evilbay.

Dont ask me what parts I've got or are going to be for sale as I haven't worked it out yet. Some stuff that I deffinitely dont want will be going soon like a good set of front forks for a YZ250/400C, the ones with the canasters on the top.

I guess what I am doing is giving a heads up that it's coming if you are looking for an EVO bike and to test the water if anyone wants them. (Apart from the 250G)

May consider an IT175 as a trade in.

Gday Viper 666,
sounds like a big cleanout. Are some of the parking lot out the front gunna go as well?
If you have time we can discuss all things for sale tommorrow night around a good fire with a spit roast and plenty of Melbourne Stubbies. Normal Friday night location. ;D ;D

p.s. How do you do that big step up so well on that little YZ ??? ???

Regards Stan.

Rough Guesstimates depending on finished condition & originality (These are not "AS she is")

These would ALL be with rebuilt engines. (ALL bearings, seals, gaskets, top ends & most with rod kits.)

I will give a limited warantee on them. More detail on that when the time comes.

125F's $1500-$2500

125G's $1500-$3000

250F's $2000-$3500

250G $3500+

400F's $2000-$3500

100G $1000+

80H (Evo mini) $1200+

I can hear some of you laughing from here but until I start to rebulid them I wont know the condition of the parts.

Pics tell a thousand words, the 80H sounds like a good classic, will the coupe have YZ stickers?

Victoria.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

My appologies to everyone that has tried to contact me but believe it or not I have been flat out at work & this is the first time I have logged in since November.

No I haven't done my stocktake yet but I am in the midst of building the shelves. I really wanted all this done by now & from the PM's & calls so did a lot of you.

I should know better by now than to make such statements.

I will let you all know when it's done but dont hold your breath. If you are despearte for a part I might have to get you season underway CALL me (Give it a week or two) dont email (PM) as my email has virtually been out of action for months.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well have finished the shelves but no stocktake as of yet.

Will try to get it done over the next month or so.

Really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, slack.

Might end up selling a few "As is"

Not enough time.

Again, no PM's just ring or text but be prepared for a wait.
