Don't let this Rare Beauty ...

....slip pass ;).

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ITALJET-SCOTT-350-4-STROKE-/160542784775?pt=AU_Motorcycles&hash=item2561187d07

The partly torn down non-running engine is a 'bit of a worry' but and interesting bike worth the $1500 of worry ;D

It would make a nice 'conversation starter' Pit Bike for CD as well.

"Very interesting and rare are the 4 strokers. They were not competitive, more a trail bike, but look very nice.
actually 322ccm"

Not associated with the seller yarda yarda yarda  ;)

I'm sorry to anyone wanting to keep this quite to snipe it   ::) :-[

Believe it or not I know two guys with Italjet Scott 350's and both speak of them in less than glowing terms. I had a ride on Anthony Suttors and I found it to be heavy and lumbering, not at all like a trials bike is supposed to perform. The Rotax engine is a good thing but probably not the perfect choice for trials, even in the twinshock era.

.......but it's soooo pruddy Mark 8).

As I said, "It would make a nice 'conversation starter' Pit Bike for CD'. Whip the head light off, put on a push bike shopping basket and you have a unique (except for those other two  ::)) Swap meeting/Pit bike ;D.

What I said doesn't mean that I don't think they're cool. It'd be a great pit bike, just as you said. It'd probably be a fun novice standard twin shock trials bike too.
