Ebay parts from USA.
« on: February 01, 2011, 11:28:45 pm »
I have a recollection that I read of a bloke in US who offered a service of using his address to get stuff posted to, from ebay sellers who won't send outside USA.

Does anyone remember who it is ?  Has anyone used him ?  Good bloke/reliable ?  Doesn't rip you off ?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Martin

The guy you're after is Maicojames, I've got a good hub for my CZ coming through him. I couldn't be more happy with the help he's given me  :)

I have had people in US who cannot be bothered sending to AUS. I have never been ripped off - but have allways made sure of postage costs to AUS before bidding. A lot of these yanks are nor real quick on the uptake though.

This is a package forwarding company that has very cheap postage.  It's free to sign up and they give you a U.S. postal address. They will also combine packages.  I researched and found this to be the cheapest company with no joining fees.  They bulk buy their shipping so they can also offer cheap rates.
I have used them and it saves a lot of headaches, I also use them for companies that will ship to Aus but want too much for postage.  I saved $100 in postage on my last order.
You can use them to shop at walmart or anywhere.

It also saves having to bother a mate of a mate who lives in the U.S.

Good service to know of. It's no problem "bothering" me...as I think most who can't be bothered are really being lazy or are bigots. Maicobuddy is on the east coast, I am in Texas ( central)-we just need a west coast contact-I think you have a few.

Happy to help VMXers anywhere.
