I suppose it never occured to his knockers that possibly thats what the TV audiences want to see. All the arrogance and abuse is for TV its what people who watch reality TV want to see.

Oh I do, I do realise that his show is popular for a reason. Why do you think I hate him with a passion and get depressed thinking about it knowing there is nothing I can do about the direction he and his type are taking society. The guy is a total unadulterated arsehole - no acting involved. The fact that he is a rich successful unadulterated arsehole seems to make all the differences for some in our society. They think it is cool and now think it is okay to emulate him. Indeed, some think it is the path to success that they will follow. 

But of course Ramsey is not the only rich successful unadulterated arsehole 'in the public eye' and making money by being a professional arsehole.
