Nindy Gully Endruro

Here are some pics from whrn I was younger at an Endruro held at Nindy Gully QLD, not quite old bikes but bikes. Pics taken early '90's

Pretty wet and muddy

Bits fell off some bikes with all the sticky mud


the riders,( I wasn't one of them just watching)

I used to ride there in 90's had a couple of top 3 outrights and 250 class wins
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

I only went there once and had a great time.
I think the year I went was in 1990 or 91.

90 or 91 I rode a almost stock XR 250 with stock road gearing and came 4th outright first 250.
The officals came and ask me if I done all 8 laps as they thought it was a scoring error as I was on the XR.
It was really wet that year thou and parts of the track were under water. If you have a pic of rider on a XR with a yellow bell helmet please post it.

Yeah it was wet and some people made it wetter

LOL yeah the local's would stand in the good lines to try and push you into the mud I would just pin it in 3rd and aim for them. I ran over one guy near the beer tent one year he was a bit slow.  ;)

I did it in 78 and had a ball. But all the photo's went with the revenge seeking X-wife so only have the memories now days  ::) Darcy
