crankshaft rebuilders
« on: January 07, 2011, 02:23:27 pm »
Does anyone know of a good place to go to get a crankshaft rebuilt for a RM 400T. I was told Serco in Wooloongabba. Has anyone had any experiences with them?

Thanks

SERCO can and will do the crank rebuild, they checked and trued one of my RM250A cranks. Talk to Alan Hoekwater Ph 3362 6600

Yep, Serco's the go. I don't know of anyone else in brisvegas that does, you could take it to a shop, but they just send it on to Serco anyway.
Alan's great.

on the northside Craig Lott can do the deed. Not sure if the case is still so but he was doing much of Team Moto's work..cranks done in shop, boring is outsourced to another guy at Caboolture who also knows the aircooled stuff ;)

Paul Eickelberg in Caboolture does a great job on bores, cranks and general machining. Ex german GP racer, very particular..
